Detailed project

NB: this form is filled entirely by the ones submitting the innovation.

What is the issue addressed?

Inaccessible fertilisation / Pollution due to fertilisation / Droughts / Poor soil quality / Weakening of plants (disease/nutrient content) / CO2: 1 ton of biochar : 2.5t CO2 equivalent

How is the problem solved?

Biochar is a concentrated organic carbon. As a soil-enriching agent, it contributes to the development of food sovereignty by proposing a local and circular model of interdependencies on agricultural fertilisation. The formula is age-old: DEMIO extracts carbon from plant residues, biochar is mixed with organic waste; after a few weeks, we obtain a soil-enriching agent that brings soils back to life and limits agricultural pollution.

What is the customer target?

Composting facilities / Wood energy facilities / Agricultural cooperatives

How is this solution different?

A rustic machine with an autonomous energy supply for a model that is scalable and aimed at those managing raw materials. The aim is to provide accessible biochar at a local level for market gardening, viticulture, and polluted soils
