DetoXyFi is working on ensuring access to clean, drinking water as a basic human right.
DetoXyFi is commercializing a low cost, highly effective water filter that allows everyone, regardless of socio-economic background, to consume water free of organic and inorganic contaminants.
Built over 12 years of research at MIT, our gravity driven patent-pending innovation converts discarded sapwood into water filters that provide WHO quality water clear of organic and inorganic contaminants.
While our filter can work in a wide variety of settings and has been field tested in them, the initial target audience is those affected by natural disasters and need reliable drinking water in the immediate aftermath.
1) Our filters are derived 100% from discarded sapwood 2) Due to the nature of the product, DetoXyFi filters can be sold anywhere at a low price. 3) Ours is the first all natural filter to eliminate disease causing agents as well as chemical/plastic contaminants. 4) Our filters have been field tested in adverse lab and field conditions (India, uganda, and madagascar)
